Diamond Mining in Guyana
Hi There, my name is Derek Drakes, I am the owner of a couple of International Business corporations, based in Nassau, Bahamas. One is called Chandra Holdings, which holds majority stocks in South American Mineral Corp., In addition I also have an exploration company in Guyana SA, called Georgetown Explorations. Approximately 5-7 years ago I tried through a friend of mine Mr. Paul Lamarche, son of Guy Lamarche the boiler room stock broker who was shot by his best friend at the annual gold & diamond miners conference at the Royal York Hotel, to take the company public. After purchasing several real-estate properties, and raising approximately CAN $250,000.00, I was advised to set-up some off-shore shell companies. I contacted Merv my accountant to set-up a meeting with Jack Bernstein a tax lawyer, regarding the setting-up of my companies, Jack suggested going off-shore, as Brex was hot in the media, and several gold & diamond mining scams were going on in Vancouver BC. So my accountant Merv suggested I accompany him to Nassau, to look at the viability of setting my off-shore companies. Once in Nassau Merv took me to Jones & Associates, owner & operated by Mr. Hywell Jones, a former World Bank Consultant, who took me to meet Mr. Vick at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Nassau, after meeting Mr. Vick and his subordinates, and presenting my portfolio, I was told by Mr. Vick, welcome to our banking family we feel you've stumbled on top something good. In short I have access to several lucrative mining claims in Guyana, I am the local as well as the foreign investor, as I am of Guyanaese origin, grew-up in Toronto, and own the IBC's in Nassau, there is links in Amsterdam for certification, and links in Britain for distribution as well. These companies can be easily reinstated, if there is anyone who is interested in doing some exploration work in the Amazon Basin in The Guyana Shield, or the Clastic Roraima Supergroup, please do not hesitate in contacting me.
